Principal's Welcome
Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,
On behalf of Marshall Elementary School, I would like to welcome each of you to the start of our 2024 - 2025 school year. I am honored and look forward to working with all staff members, students, parents/guardians, community members, and educational partners.
At Marshall Elementary we believe that education is a partnership between school, home, and the community. As we continue to create a culture of Literacy, we are committed to creating a collaborative culture where each student feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to provide students with a strong foundation of early literacy skills so they become lifelong learners. Our Staff is committed to providing engaging, rigorous and intentional lessons that challenge students to think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly.
Parents, your involvement is crucial to our success. I encourage you to participate in school events. Together, we can create a vibrant and dynamic learning community that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of the future. I ask you to become a key supporter of your child’s education. I want to encourage you to become involved in your child’s learning experience by being a member of the Marshall/Fremont Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), School Site Council (SSC), or English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC). It is important for every parent to be actively involved with their child’s education.
Communication is a key component of your child’s academic success. The partnership of parents, teachers, and students is critical in fostering progress and growth for our students. We hope that your child continues to experience a year of growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Marshall Elementary School staff is always available to answer your questions or concerns. Please feel free to contact us by visiting our office, or calling us at (559) 834-6120.
Our team here at Marshall looks forward to working together to make this a success-filled year of learning for your child.
Sincerely,
Jim Cardenas
